• Dates on everything. Software changes fast, so every guide shows when it was last updated.
• Clear money disclosure. Some links earn us a commission. That never decides a ranking — see our affiliate disclosure.
• We say who should skip a tool. A recommendation is only useful if it tells you when it doesn't apply.
